BC New FC owner from Vancouver

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new member from Vancouver BC. I recently picked up a 91 RX7 NA with 160xxx kms.

It's actually my third car since September 2011. I first picked up a 92 Civic hatch with rust EVERYWHERE and was "lucky" enough to get rear ended and have the car written off. ICBC (the auto insurance company here) paid me more than double for what I paid for it. From there I bought a 96 Civic SI which is the EX equivalent here in Canada. The previous owner lied about the timing belt being replaced and it snapped at the end of January. Just my luck...

And here I am now. A very proud owner of an FC, a car that I can actually say, I've fallen in love with.

In the shop getting the exhaust leaks fixed and Y pip replaced, coolant flushed, rad hoses replaced, belts replaced and differential fluid changed.

A quick photoshop to see what it would look like with a drop and some spacers

Trying to make this one last for a very long time. Got a lot to learn though since it is my first rotary. Wish me luck

Rod

Welcome, Rod!

Sounds like the last few months have been rough for you, but sounds like it all worked out for the best.

Thanks Kent! Yea it's been pretty annoying but now that I own an FC I wouldn't want it any other way. Just hoping I can make it last.

Thanks guys! She looks clean but actually has a lot of dents all over and some nasty scratches and big dents on the hood. Other than that though the paint is still really good. Thinking about getting a new hood so anyone trying to get rid of an old turbo or NA hood just let me know
