I'm new to the whole RX-7 and rotary engine area, but I find it all very interesting and am currently looking for one to purchase. I dont know if he is still relavent here but I am the nephew of Dave Segalla or Guitarjunkie28, and that is where I found out about RX-7s, I hope to continue his legacy and have fun!

You can find 2014 Mustang GTs in your price range with relative ease, if you want a bit more modern lightly used ecoboost mustangs fall well within your price range.

You could also find either a 2011+ BMW Z4 or a 2015 M235i in your price range. As far as good drivers cars go those are some of the better ones Big Mexican Woman has built in recent time, provided you don’t want to sign a massive loan.
Nox Vidmate VLC

Wild card: Ford Fiesta ST. Meets all of your criteria with the exception of the drive wheels.
