new dude!!!
to start my name is andrew. i love cars and fixing them is my profession. last year i bought a 1990 240sx and the last owner swapped a ca18 engine and un benounced to me he didnt tune it properly and it was running lean at higher rpm. so the eninge overheated and the piston rings blew. the car sat over winter and i finally decided to install a 13b-rew, convert it to a single turbo and looking for like 300 plus hp. the car is a DD/ track car.
i do a weekly auto x event weekly drag racing and im gunna try to start drifting in compititions.
theres the car. i would love to get my self into a 3rd gen rx7 but my funding is not that high and i really love this car. it seems to fit me and i want to roll up to the line with one of the 100s of sr20det 240sx's in the area and beat them senceless. id be getting the same power and still save a ton of weight

kool on the 240... but for the 13b Rew swap..
if ur Lookin to beat people sensless ur better off sticking to a Piston engine IE RB25Det....Rb26DetT Ka24DeT.....
They produce wayy more toruqe at Lower RPMS then the rotary engine ever will... therefore...
Better for DraggRacing.....
but Canyon runs= Different Story... Rotary Engine

Well the rb is sweet but there is hood clearences and the kits are retardly expensive. Plus people do those swaps alot. The car will mostly be at high Rpms. For auto x and drift

well the car isnt even close to being done. dont even have a engine yet. i just got the x member from an rx 7 so i can do some measurements and what not. hopfully i can havve some time today to get the shell from my parents house to my new place.. we'll see...
and as far as the rb series engine goes... im not a fan. the swap kit alone is a grand. trying to find a rb25 rwd transmission for under 1000 bucks is no easy task. then u have to do some mods to the hood so the engine fits cuz its so tall. the rb26 is an engine i did a ton research on but its too big and heavy. and also outdated. also rotorys sound way better
maybe a long long time into the future i will do a quad rotor engine and get crazy power.
ill see if i can scavage some more good pics. im not much of a photo taker so there isnt many floating around
