New BRAP owner - NC Area
Brand new to me FD owner here and new to the Rotary world as well. I did a fair amount of research before I jumped into owning and maintaining a rotary engine FD and decided it was the type of car for me. I love having a car that constantly demands my attention. I'm military so I'm use to doing my PCC's and PCI's before I roll out on a mission, so owning an FD made sense for me. I bought a 1993 FD3S, single turbo conversion that was painted charcoal grey. She had a few minor issues that needed sorting out so I trailered her over to Rotorsports Racing in Charlotte, NC. I got all the bushings done, gauge cluster fixed, 5th gear syncro replaced, a fresh tune, and a case of pre-mix. All I have left to fix before I dive in to personalizing her to my taste is fixing the AC, the compressor and all the lines are there so I'll have a specialist look at her closer to the spring time. I'm on a quest to own all the classics from Japan, so all I have left to own is an R34. I'm looking to link up with any FD owner in the area so we can talk shop, turn wrenches, and hang out. I'm at most of the cars and coffees' in the triangle and Fayetteville area (FBO Chrome R35 GTR or Black NSX). Anyone else in or around this area? PM me
