my RX7

yo,

Just came from the mazdrift.com forums, they are pretty dead, so I thought I would sign up here..

Im currently building up an FC3s for drift and a little bit of grip racing..

specs:

1988 Series 5 Infini

Engine:

13BT extend port
RE Anemeyia FMIC
FEED 500hp Hiflow
Microtech MT8
Huge **** radiator
Bosch 044 and surge tank
3 Inch straight through exhaust
Apexi butterfly valve

Suspension:
JIC FLT2 coilovers
Guru DTSS eliminators
Lock spacers
Rose jointed tie rod ends
Front and rear cusco OS strut braces
Cams approved half cage
Seam welded

Drivetrain:
Cusco 2 way LSD
Extreme button clutch
Racing logic Hydraulic handbrake
Slotted and drilled rotors / endless pads

Body:
GP sports front bar and skirts
25mm front / 50mm rear wide guards
Re Anemeyia ducktail

Interior:
Bride Brix drivers seat
SABELT harness
Omori water temp, oil temp, oil pressure guages
HKS boost guage

Wheels:
Work Meister S1 17x9 -20 17x10 -50
Work euroline KH 17x9 +10 18x10 +10
Enkei RP03 18x9 +17

I swapped my RB20DET onevia last year for this car, and have slowly been building it up for the sole purpose of drift.
I have recently purchased a new shell for it, as mine had a fair bit of rear damage.
The new shell was an improved production race car and as such has a CAMS half cage and has been seam welded and all the cool bits.
I also have a full origin streamline kit on its way, including wide guards, carbon canards and splitters, and a big **** off GT wing.
im just going to do some more sus mods and slide the living crap out of it.

some older pics from when the previous owner had it, and from when I posed it at all-japan day.

I only have a few more pics at the moment.
Yes it is RHD, as most cars are in Australia

The yellow one is the rolling shell that I am transferring all my good gear into. Excuse the mess, I have 2 highly destructive puppies roaming my back yard!

The bonnet had a topstage style vent on it, the previous owner half finished painting it and gave up half way through.. I have a CF bonnet too replace it.

although im new to the rotor scene, ive been modifiying datsun/nissans/toyotas for some time now, i thought I might share some of my other projects/cars with you at the moment... Also if anyone needs any info/setup tips on nissans (esp. S13/A31/C33/R32 or A series and L series datsuns) hit me up, I know my ****..

anyway... this is my slide car will I build up my RX7, its a C33 Nissan Laurel, its a rareish medalist edition..

Mods:
S1 R33 RB25DET
Apexi Power FC
Puck clutch
Shimmed Diff
Coilovers
GTR rear sway bar
Kazama castor rods
Hybrid FMIC
Bleed valve
Bride brix seat
3 inch straight through exhaust
Buddy club p1 rims
walbro 255l/h fuel pump

This is my Daily driver / tow car:

2005 Holden VZ SS ute
5.7l LS1
Cold air intake
2.5 inch stainless twin syste,
Lowered
Leather interior
18 inch Monaro rims
It currently has been issued with a defective vehicle notice for being too low.. which is a pretty common occurence here in South australia, the police are having a massive crackdown on modified vehicles at the moment.

This is my bush basher

1982 Fj40 landcruiser LWB..

I use it for some off roading, and is currently my daily driver until I sort my ute out.. was looking at doing a 350 chev swap into it at a later date..
