Just picked up my first rotary, 1984 GSL-SE Black. 150,000mi. I love the car its a blast !! Looking forward to many years of rotary fun. Im in warrenton Va. hit me up if your near by.

What's going on guys? I'm Tito Rivera and I live in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I've been here since 2005 and will head back to Florida in 2015, just a few more years. Kinda always liked Skylines but started liking RX-7s after watching Initial D, go figure. My first car was a 2005 RX-8 and it was fun, but I had to sell it for a Mazda 6 since I was deploying and the wife wasn't too sure about driving standard. Good choice since I picked up my 88 RX-7 afterwards and now am in the process of picking up an FD. The FC was in bad shape when I got it but after fresh paint, new sunroof, and some engine work later it lives again. I'm not to knowledgeable on the rotary but eager to learn, not too many people here like to work on them either.

 

nice to meet a fellow VA'r.. know of any shops around here that do good work on our cars

Just up the road in MD and looking to jump into rotaries myself. Looks good!

 

It has a few rust spots here and there but nothing massive, Shops in va that do rotaries im not too sure im from southern md and moved here 2 years ago. What kind of work are you looking for ? A motors a motor in my eyes!

Nice GSL-SE...I live in Culpeper and two buddies of mine live out here also. Shop wise there really isnt one, Kyle Russett use to work for RP Performace, had his own shop over in Manassas I gave him a call a few weeks back and havnt heard from him so im not sure if he is still doing it or not.

 

There is a place in Sterling, VA i just came from and they are rotary people. firsttowin.com i believe is there website

rotary fun is good till you go through 3 motors then you go LSX lol.

 

I havent seen any other FB's around yet , I commute to arlington everyday 66 blows. Anyone else spot any?

 

sa/fb are hard to find a clean one is even harder.

I dont think there is but a few, my dad has a black GSL-SE and lives up in amissville you might see him pass through warrenton during the week. And I have only see it a few times but someone has a two tone blk/silver 83 Limited in warrenton. My 83 is in the garage here in culpeper and wont be leaving for some time. but your welcome to swing out here some day and hang out there is 3 of us out here that have RX-7s
