Marine over his head maybe
well. im new to rotorary engines. dont know anything bout them and everyone slapped me for buyin one. i bought me a 1991 rx7 convertible for 500 bucks. everything works but the engine wont turn over. it rotates and we messed with it and got it sort of started but it shut off as soon as i let the key go or 2 seconds after it running. came to this site for two reasons. 1. i own a rx7 of course and its always good to get to know people that have the same car. 2. cause i dont know anything bout this car other then when the engine is actually running its a good engine.
what i want to get out of the car right now is to get it running. overall by the time i get it to where i want it i want to repaint it and get interior. was thinkin crimson on the outside and a goldish tan color inside. gotta go for the marine corps colors. oh i am in the marines. i am a 1812 M1A1 tank crewman. i love my job.
well if anyone can help me on gettin it started and running please let me know. i looked into somethings and thinking bout trying them. like someone said to put atf in the engine alittle to break up stuck apex seals and stuff incase its not starting cause of low compression. anyone know if that works
