Lovin me some FC

Hi everybody.
Ive been lurking on here for a couple years now, I figured I'd finally make an account. It all started when I needed a car for work, and I found a real POS of a series 4 base model for $1000. I had a lot of fun in that and learned a lot, but when my friend pulled a low mileage Arctic Silver TII out of storage with a fresh rebuild in it I knew I needed it.

Turns out whoever had built the motor installed the needle bearing at the front of the motor wrong, so the engine took a dump two weeks after I bought it. He took pity on me and let me rebuild it in his garage, so that's what I did all weekend, every weekend for a few months. I wish I still had the pictures from my old phone, because the flakes of bearings in the oil was really pretty.

Nowadays its running really good with the megasquirt, but it still has the stock turbo and intercooler, so that's gonna have to change next summer. As for me I'm back in college studying vehicle engineering, so that keeps me from dumping time and money into the car like I was. But on the plus side I have more resources with which to make custom parts.

Glad to finally be on the forum!

Sorry for the double post, I just uploaded some pics of the minty fresh interior.

Check out that nine band graphic equalizer.
