Anyway, I've had a long list of RXs that started when my father helped me turn a Rotary Engineering RX-3 racecar back into a street car, and I have been hooked ever since.

I currently have a '89 Convertible and a 93 R1.

Yes, they came on the car when I got it. I don't hate them, but I think I want to drop down to a 17", so I might upgrade them when these tires are cooked.

The car looks great! The FE wheels aren't terrible on the car but I personally prefer the original wheels. Just something about them I just love! How long have you had your R1?

 

Its been in the family for quite a while, but in my name (and garage) for about 2 years.

 

Looks like it's been very well taken care of. I know my paint has not held up as well over the years.

 

The Hi-Reflex paint that Mazda used really didn't hold up well unfortunately. But you're right, his example appears to have held up very well if the paint is in fact original!
