Long time lurker from the Caribbean

Hi all, this is my 2000 RX& type RS, Apologies for the large pics

Imported from Japan in 2017, performance-wise it had an HKS silent exhaust, and....thats it. also got it with nice Mazdaspeed seats, Ganador (i think) mirrors and a hideous Bomex bumper and Mazdaspeed sideskirts as you can see.

Got rid of the bumper and side skirts and installed a factory bumper, changed the exhaust to a FEED Sonic exhaust, and added HKS intake filters.
Greddy intercooler on the way, still undecided about ECU setup. Progress has been slow due to Covid as well as a few other projects happening at the same time

Hope you like, apologies again for the large pics

Congratulations on the pick up.

When you are able please post up pics on the following thread:

As a starter replacement ecu you might consider a Power FC. Be sure to get the right model number for your car's VIN nnumber.

Some consider the Power FC to be dated, but there is a lot of experience with that ecu.

Also there is a strong support group to help you manage the unit from a laptop.

Which may be important if you are far from a tuning shop.

Be careful using a USDM FSM as there are important differences with later JDM version 5 & 6 cars.

Particularly the positioning of the coils.

appreciate the feedback
i was kinda apprehensive on the FC for the same reason, but its' starting to look more and more like the most sensible option at the moment
