Very nice. How about some shots down by the beach(es)?
Are there JDM meets in Jamaica?
there are a handful of rx7s here spread around, i dont think anyone has ever tried to hold a rx7-themed meet though.
we do have a rather vibrant JDM car culture here though. any given weekend you can find some sort of linkup/event

Picked up a set of the 1995 Shop Option brochure "Magtek" wheels, had them fired on yesterday and took them for a spin down to Blaine and caught the sunset on Birch Bay.

I’m sure these aren’t for everyone, but those are pretty rad wheels 👍
Well, I was "meh" until someone pointed out the rotor shaped openings. These wheels were Y89,000 each in the original brochure, which may account for them being rare today. These wheels had obviously been used, which makes me feel a little less guilty about not keeping them in bubble wrap on the "shoe" shelf.

Several took advantage of the fine summer-like weather to take a cruise to Whistler up the (world-famous) Sea-to-sky Highway. https://goo.gl/maps/w4jkNeuAHBkKgxfT9 With the bright sun shaded by the high coastal mountains the road conditions were ideal, and traffic was only moderate, given the middle day of the long weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving.) Stopping at Porteau Cove, a favourite scuba diving spot. Sea-to-sky highway runs along the base of the cliff in the background. The narrow right-of-way is shared by the last miles of an important transcontinental railway. The cliff face here is very unstable, which was a concern to the Olympic Committee. The Province spent $1.4 billion "improving" this section of the highway. Needless to say, we tend to drive very fast through this section.
Looking out on Howe Sound. The highway remains in the shade of the mountains, letting the view of the brightly lit waters really pop. Tantalus Mountain viewpoint half way to Whistler from Squamish. Glaciers are hanging in there, where most other peaks are bare. No early snow this year! Historic Britannia Mines Museum, ore crushing facility. This building featured in the opening credits of the "X Files". (This is where Agent Maldor discovered the files on the alien dna inoculations.) Many other scenes were filmed in this area. Old mine shafts run out under Howe Sound. The museum has a underground tour on a refurbished mine train. Nevermind the drips! Alleged "Baja-style" fish taco at La Cantina restaurant in Whistler's Market Square.
First AutoX of the year was held in howling rain, little would we expect, the last would be held on a record temperature day, for an October 16th, in the middle of our first ever drought. (Nevermind the massive Fraser River flowing just behind that line of trees.)
Day started with a strong breeze blowing in smoke from a number of nearby forest fires.
Pic shows people setting out on the "Novice Walk". The strong turn out of new drivers, reflects, in my opinion, the reputation of well run and safe events.
I perhaps should have gone on the walk as most of the "novices" beat me.
Looks like an awesome turnout and a good variety of cars also.
Very familiar with the bush fire backdrop and coming into that season over here in OZ.
Car is looking appropriately intimidating.
Hope you all had fun
