I'm new and this is my car!

Hello everyone as you can see I'm new to this form and I hope to learn more about rotary's, my first gen rx7.

I've had this rx7 for about a year now, I just thought I'd hop on a form and engage with you fine people. Please stir up a conversation about my car if you feel up to it and I'll answer any questions you might have.

Things I've done to it ,racing beat intake, header and presilencer. I have a 1405 edelbrock carb on it I had to take the engine out and swap it for the engine in my friends parts car (witch was fun to pull).
Right as I'm typing this I'm waiting for my new aluminum radiator to come in.

How did we find it? My friend and I were looking for parts for my 73 ford, we were walking around the land owner's yard for a bit then my friend pointed out the RX7 hidden away. We got talking about it with the land owner, the land owner said " my friend wanted to store it here well he's down south " guess he never came back for it.
So we took a good look at it asked how much and we were at the price ( not going to say how much) but for what it is, worth it. As for plans for it I would like it to be a " hopped up daily driver" and might take it to some car shows when fixed.

Here's my car.

Here is where I found her.

My friend and I had to PULL it out of the ground, lol

It was sitting for 5-6 years

It was sitting at my friends for a BIT.

It will be a blast to drive once you get it up and running! I love my early 7's! They just have a different feel to them...more basic and raw and I can appreciate their simplicity. I have other faster cars but for me it's not about going fast, it's about how the car makes you feel. An overall driver's experience if you will. These are just incredible cars!
