Just got my 86 FC running again.

Man, that was scary. When I bought my car it ran fine. Then after about a month I drove to work and when I came back out an hour later, it wouldn't start. I did some tests on my own, but when I didn't come up with anything I took it to my mechanic, hes not really a rotary guy, so when the compression test came up with 0-0-0 on both rotors he said it was blown. Almost made me cry. lol. But that didn't make any sense to me, how could it get blown by sitting still for an hour. So I had my good friend who is a rotary freak come take a look at it. And after he looked at it and did his own compression test and listened to my story of what happened, he said that my engine was carbon locked. So the next day I did what he said and after a couple of hours it started up perfectly. A couple days later he came back over and did another compression test, and it came out 85-85-85 on both rotors. My engine has never been rebuilt, and has 160,000 miles on it. Its kinda like a miracle. lol.

Now I've got some things I want to do to it, which will take awhile.

First, I want to end up switching out my 6-port engine with a T2 engine, that way I can get it bridge ported later. But I've got a couple questions.

Can I buy just the T2 Rotor Housings and be able to get it Bridge Ported, or do I need the T2 Side Housings also? I'm going to keep it NA, in other words, for those of you who don't know, it's never going to be turbo'd.

And I also want to make my own custom interior. It's going to be made out of either Fiberglass, or Carbon Fiber if I have the money.

If anyone has pictures of their custom dash it'd be great if you posted them, I'm still looking for ideas on what I want to do with it.
