Hey My name is Jacob, i just bought an 91 Vert from a buddy of mine. This is my first adventure into the Rotary engine and I already think i am hooked. Alittle back info; I currently own an S13 and have been through 10-12 ( got bored and traded) and have 3 AE86s, i have been into working on car since before i could drive.

I figured why not get a 7 and try it out and see how I like it.

I have a few problems with it. It has real bad hesitation after the car has warmed up; the check engine light will come on and if i go anything past 1/4 throttle it will bog down; it has new NGK plugs and Wires, surging idle when it is cold and low idle when it is warm. IM thinking it is the TPS as the PO replaced and took it up to Mazda and they calibrated it. Im thinking they did it wrong.

There's no shortage of 2ndgen guru's who play on this board who probably have a good idea what your problem is. Create a thread in the New Member tech board and see what they've got to say.

I just bought an 88 vert. How are you enjoying your 91 so far, aforementioned issues aside?

Edit: I'm having numerous issues with my convertible top. The internal mechanisms are dying.
