Just got a 88 rx7 turbo 2

Hi I'm brad I live in SW Florida and I just got a 88 rx7 turbo 2 with a Garrett a/r 42 turbo on it with a 3 inch full exhaust from turbo back a t type boost controller and a aftermarket blow off valve. It runs great but turbo don't start to build boost till bout 4 5 thousand rpm then holds 5 pounds for a few then starts to drop car needs things like tranny mounts interior and body work but I'm wanting to build I nice clean fast car out of her

Thanks that's what I got it for just need to locate interior pieces and a stock front bumper for starters

The buy and sell forum, plus the forums that are state specific will definitely be a good place to start looking for parts, as well as meeting other people with the same interest

Well for starter get all the mounts and leaks fixed and then start on body and interior work then to some major performance lol

Definitely a nice start! Getting the oem front bumper will make a big difference, good luck with it!

Sounds like you got a good starter car. Interior is easier than having to get major motor work done. Congrats on your buy

Definitely want to get an FC! I use to think the FD's were the most beautiful but now that I look at them more my heart is definitely warming up to the FC's. Great purchase, look forward to seeing your build. Are there a lot of 2nd gen RX-7s in Florida? Looking to buy one but hard to find one w/o rust in Wisconsin and my parents own a place in Fort Meyers.

Not not a ton down here and I also live in fort Myers lol and thanks I've got a front bumper on the way stainless steal brake lines and a ac control head all on there way to me from people off this forum so getting there
