Just bought a rhd FD
So, as if my 3000gt vr4 wasn’t enough of a headache; I just got my 94 rx7 in from Japan (29k miles on the odo.) RE amemiya wheels and full body kit. BUT… I am just having trouble fitting in it. Which is a shame because the current bride seats are beautiful. Any advice? Came with a flat bottom momo wheel . Im only 5’11 and I can’t even lift my foot off the clutch without banging my knee/thigh on the wheel. Any seat in particular that bigger guys are using that won’t impede the door? Thanks!

any pictures of the seat? How close to the pedals are you?
im 5’10 and my bride gias II with low max cushions had my *** about 6 inches off the floor so I basically had my legs outstretched in front of me , meaning my knee was no where near the steering wheel.

Welcome to the club. That is an absolutely gorgeous Chaste White FD. One thing to keep in mind is that when it comes to 92-95 FDs, there are three different "versions", each of which have a few quirks unique to them. For example, Version 1 uses the same ABS system as a GT-Limited Special Edition FC. Version 2 replaced it entirely with one from the 20B Cosmo, and they kept it that way for Version 3.
Easy way to tell is the first digit in your Chassis number after "FD3S". 1 is Version 1, 2 is Version 2, etc. That generally makes it a lot easier to track down parts if needed, though having the full Chassis Number eliminates all guesswork so you get the correct stuff the first time, every time.
