Jdm Rx7 Fd3s

Hello! All new to the Club 😊. I was wondering if anyone could help me, as I am trying to search for my car’s history from japan or any auction sheet site but had no luck.
I had the car for around 3 years now and the car information sticker is faded and really would like to know the information and grade.
If anyone could help would really be great 👍
This is my Fd from Malta

Welcome to the forum!! That's a gorgeous FD. You may be able to create a thread in the 3rd gen section reference the information you are looking for. You'll need to list the vin of course and perhaps someone there will be able to dig something up on the car.

mazdaverx713b is likely referring to me. I just finished datamining the entire production run last week to put together production data and a searchable database. Quite a few trends came out when totaling up the numbers. From a glance, it looks like Silver Stone Metallic paint (Paint Code 3L). If it is a Series 7 (VIN is FD3S-4xxxxx), it is one of 1224, out of a total production run of 9629. There's a plate riveted to the firewall, can you get a picture of it for me?

As for the faded sticker, if you can get a picture, I might be able to translate it from Japanese.

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately the sticker is just blank white, completely faded. The car is a 1995 and yes it is 3L silver stone metallic, vin is FD3S-301179

I took a quick look in the database and here's what came up. Fractions are 1 out of xxxx, indicating how common that option was on Version 3

FD3S-301179
MSC/SPC Code: F125-210: Type R (1/485) (Out of 837 total Type R models built)
Exterior: 3L Silver Stone Metallic (1/692)
Interior: FE5 Black (1/5720)
Built on 19941014 (October 14, 1994)

There is more information available, I'd have to run a full Build Sheet on it though.

It is a version 3 car, Type R

You can use a service like www.autocheck.jp to obtain a copy of past auction sheets with translation and a copy of the export certificate to determine the odometer readings at the last 2 registration checks in Japan (which must be done every 2 years while registered with the Japanese road authority).

I recently used www.autocheck.jp and it was very helpful.

Found out the auction sheet I had was partly faked.

Post up some more pics and news about the FD scene in Malta here:
