KS Introduction- Another Newbie

My name is Tom and I am getting ready to start working on a 1985 Gen 1 in mint condition with under 60k. Unfortunately it is not an SE, so I might be looking for a 13B and some corners and a diff. to get closer so I can get more power and have some more options on wheels. I want to learn the car inside and out like previous cars I have had. This site is absolutely incredible. I wish I could read all day and night for a while.... but work is calling.

I'm in the same boat, 1984 with 58k miles, but a GSL! I'll probably keep my 12A though, don't feeling like messing about TOO much.

Welcome Tom. Where are you at in Kansas? I did the 13B swap on my 79SA. It's worth all the effort to save another first gen from the crusher. There are getting to be ever fewer of these cars around and it seems few that care.
