Well Matt, thanks for saving an RX-7 from the dustbins of history and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club! How long have you had the rotary fever and where did it come from?

Do tell, mine was a rescue car too, rescued from a dumb redneck with AMAZING exhaust fabrication and bodywork skills
Also, what plans do you have for your car? First mod I'd recommend is upgrading your alternator. Series 4 (86-88) ones are weak as hell. Most guys use FD ones with a dual sheave pulley from Racing Beat, Mazdatrix or Japan2LA (he's a forum vendor and a cool guy overall).
PS. check out ohiorotaries for local events and parts/cars for sale

Idk much about rx7's since I haven't bought mine yet But the 13b-t out of a fc3s is pretty cheap I think like $1300 so run your motor to the ground and save up and do the swap I'm sure u can find a cheap oem rear if u ever wanna change that and suspension is gold to me so just find a nice combo and good to go correct me if I'm wrong anybody.
