I got an FC last week for $900

hey i'm new to rx7's. I got an 88 last week for 900 that was primer and runs great besides needing tps adjustment... I just wanna share my pictures for now.

I"m posted before and after.. I got the car when it was all primer and I got it painted blue.

so 900 bucks 150 for tags, title, and a 300 paint job. not bad eh?

post comments please.

Hmmm...well, I'm seeing this post as not moderated and "out there", so I'm deleting all of the other "bad" posts that stemmed from this one...

I"m new to rx7 and I was told this was a good forum for help and info... but the probme is when I post mods take days my posted thread to show up on the boards. and I"m done with it.. I am sick and tired of my threads not showing up. So yes I'm new to rx7 i love them, but i hate this forum, i'm using another rx7 forum besides this one.. goodbye
These ones. New posts in the New member section always need to be reviewed first by the moderators. Once you go to the other parts of the forum, this is no longer the case. We have been backed up lately so your post was not approved immediately. The possibility of a delay was stated in: https://www.rx7club.com/announcement.php?f=254&a=185 which I might add, you posted that you read.

Either way, welcome, and you got a good deal.

sorry well is there something we can do to make things faster and or hey why not just take that feature off because some forums you can post a thread right away and it's there.. I say we take the feature off and who ever starts a new thread thats already on just ban asap.

I say we don't become a trash website like the ones where you can post immediately and end up with a proliferation of spam threads selling phones and ****. This place was like that, posting new threads immediately, and it got out of control. The feature works, the feature will stay, enjoy the feature.

I say we change it because if who ever breaks the rules just ban them... If it doesn't change, then i'm sorry i'm not using this forum because I"m not waiting a full week for my thread to finally be posted on the board.

So the mods filter out all the **** and spam that would litter your thread that makes it completely useless to everyone,
instead of you just waiting a while till your post gets approved.

That sure makes sense... make them do more work so you don't have to wait.
Besides its only in the new member area, now grow up because the world does not revolve around your time schedule. /rant

VA It's A Good Site - So I'm Being Patient

I'm a computer geek and really appreciate the volunteer moderators and what they do to control this web site. It's impressive! Didn't understand why ALL of the posts are SO USEFUL, until I came to the new member section and read all the intro postings. Now I know, the MODERATORS maintain a lot of control!

But it's hard being patient, when you first sign up.

I'm hoping the patience will pay off tho.

This is not up for discussion. Our method works and we are not interested in changing it. Most threads are approved within a day or two, unless the moderators get busy. We have lives and jobs outside the RX-7club and are not paid for what we do. Shame you don't care to stick around, but have fun on some other forum then.

I'm closing this thread. Its gone so off topic its pointless now. Feel free to make a new one about your car if you wish.

FWIW FCmidnight Blue88, your threads are only an approval status in the New Members section and the Classifieds. This feature is not going to change at all. These sections are run by people who get paid nothing for what they do. The only payment they receive is the thanks from the fellow community member's.

We have been using this feature for over 1 year now in the Classifieds, and we have been using the feature in the New Members section since it was created in October. Your thought of having it change just because you don't like waiting around for your thread is not going to help you one bit in your case.

Welcome to the forums, you got a good deal.
