A few weeks ago, I picked up my 1997 RX-7 RS-R and embarked on a memorable road trip, starting through Virginia's hills and mountains and ending in Miami. I didn't even push it to its limits; I enjoyed driving with the radio off and the windows down, immersing myself in its unique sounds. It's emotional to think about how I had a poster of the FD on my wall as a teen and never thought I would ever be able to own one. A few weeks into ownership, all that comes to mind is what Doug DeMuro once said, "The only disappointment I have driving this car is I can't look at it."
This picture was taken in Georgia, where I stopped to visit my mom. I don't know if being left-handed has anything to do with it, but on top of how effortless it was to operate an RHD car for the first time, it was a better driving experience for me overall.
