Hi from Tokyo

Kind hello to all!

I am currently looking into acquiring an FD3S...not an easy task at all.

If anyone is around the city, give me a shout! Could use some schooling and support in this grand task.

Many thanks, and look forward to participating in the forum,
Mikki

Yeah, look for a Spirit R. You've got a lot more choices there

Thank you for all for the kind hello!

I am actually half Japanese, half American, and grew up in NJ... working in Tokyo at the moment.

I've looked at a Spirit-R, but it was in an accident... unless you are able to let go of your extra kidney, or are lucky enough to have saved up enough, the Spirit-R is still quite out of the range (at least for me)

I am still looking for a nice FD myself... 5型or up!

Many thanks everyone-

So tonight in order to study a bit more... bought this magazine:

and innards...

This weekend planning on visiting FAMSpeed...or maybe try one of the Saitama dealerships again. Given my budget and limited time to travel, its very challenging.

I have an ongoing list, currently at about seven or so... but as soon as I get back from visiting one, a couple are sold. Frustrating, but part of the fun I guess

So... it is done.

I can barely hold myself together now, I pick up the car tomorrow. One of the most longest weeks of my life. Bought it a few weeks back, but paperwork in Japan is like no other.

White, 2001, 5spd (of course), one owner, 53km on odo, only mods are 16'' Volks, Navi, and HIDs (going to rip these out, don't want to blind people).

Will be posting pictures tomorrow. Yes, this thread is worthless without pics.

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your purchase!! I will be heading to Tokyo in August myself and I am definitely looking forward too seeing a bunch of RX7s there. Great choice in color, too. I LOVE white RX7s. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
