Hi Folks from Sydney Australia
Hello There,
i just joined the forum, my name is David from Sydney Australia.
i currently own a 2nd generation fc rx7 6 port.
have had in the past 3 R100's an Rx2, an 808, an Rx4 12a model and a turbo fc.
i now own a non turbo which i bought for $300 and have almost finished.
i dont have any history on the car but as far as i can tell the engine might be slightly ported because it has a bit of an idle although that could be because its running very rich on idle but there are some other clues.
it has a standard exhaust manifold but has a large 3inch exhaust through a cat then a straight through muffler before the diff then another straight through muffler at the back with a 4 inch tip.
it also has an after market computer in it and i think a turbo gearbox.(ribbed case with inspection plate on the bottom and separate bell housing)
i need to get under it tommorow and do some measuring of the tailshaft to see if it might be a turbo item.
parts for this car are hard to come by and when you do find them they are pretty expensive.
anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and my car and say Hello.
David.

Welcome Dave. I'm based down in Hobart myself. I have an FD (well, 15 others too, in various states of repair/rebuild) but only ever had one FC, which I later traded for an FD front cut.
I've been on these boards a bit, but lost my old account somewhere when I changed email, so I'm re-registering.
