Well I am not exactly new but I am finally taking the financial plunge and building up my FD. I have a 94 Silver FD Touring model. Very nice.
Right now my car is undergoing a rebuild after 88K. My shop is OJ Imports of McAllen TX. Very nice guy, Omar, very knowledgable and VERY reasonable compared to other shops. I recommend him.

What is going on: I went with rebuild, new rotor housings, 2mm Atkins seals, aggressive street port. My entire intake from air cleaner to LIM is being coated satin black ceramic, as is my exhaust. 99 twins. Efini y pipe, Knightsport v mount. Banzai engine mounts. To start. Still working on exhaust. I am thinking Random Technology metal cat and Knightsports titanium cat back. And more to come. Once I get pics I will post.

I am excited to get it all back. I appreciate all the info I have received from this site so far. I'll keep you all posted.

Well OJ Imports finished my rebuild today. Started right up. Sounds nice! Not tuned yet, doesn't yet have my exhaust system and v mount on it. The boost is already climbing with fairly easy driving. Once all together and tuned this thing should be sick. The port is fairly aggressive street port and the ports were flowed and matched by Omar (OJ imports) He is one of only a few in the country that does this service. Can't wait to get it all done

 

chemicool....sorry about your car issues. I was wondering if you ended up getting the knightsport exhaust and could give some feedback on it compared to the RB duals....
