Hi everyone, newbie FD RX from TX
Hi everybody, my name's Mike. I picked up a 93 RX7 as a project car from a friend. Already had a couple hiccups gettin her home (engine stalled at the stoplights), but like I said, it's a project car. It's my first project car, and it's a car I've adored for a long time so I'm excited. It'd be nice to take the RX7 to the track one day, but baby steps for now.

Here it is after a good wash.

Also, thanks in advance for all the great info on this site and for answering the questions to come.

clean whip. you're going to love everything the FD has to offer. i've owned mine for 3 1/2 months now and i've been through and through almost every inch of her. all i have to say is this was definately a supercar for her time

Thanks! She's a beauty on the outside... on the inside though... needs some improvement. I been working on repainting the interior panels so I havent driven the car in 2 weeks.... and recent rains brought my attention to a water leak coming through the sunroof....as in i stepped in the car and the floor went squish. lol.

I feel my relationship with the rx7 is turning into a love/hate relationship... more love than hate tho.

I think silver is great color on any rx7. Added bonus where i live because it looks cleaner longer!

wow. some day i hope to own an fd as nice as that. Why did the previous owner abandon the project?

sorry to hear about the leaky sunroof, I hope its an easy fix.

Welcome. Im in the market for an fd and plan on trading or selling my evo for one. Some members on a main evo forum prewarned me about this love hate relationship you speak of but I think im ready
