Hey.. New to RX7club, and new to the rotory world

I bought my first rotory powered beast about a month ago and love it.
I come from the Honda world, and my previous car was a 92 acura integra, which i built from the ground up. it was turbo and 415 whp, but fwd just wasn't cutting it.
I've wanted a FD for as long as I can remember so i sold the honda and parts off and bought a 93 JDM montego blue FD.
the car has 98,000k and is in really good shape except the paint.
i didn't want rhd but i couldn't turn down the cheap price tag of 6,300 CDN

i recently got a really good deal on a Feed ss 3" dp, k's tuned ecu, a re-a filter and defi boost guage. Well $50 is a good deal...lol..
I haven't installed anything as of yet and it now being october theres no point seeing as I can just work on it over the winter.
I plan on having it painted mb again by the spring, i just go a line on some 18's
and am currently looking into suspension setups.

here's a few pics of it....

thanks for the comments.
I'm currently rocking the stock twin's but plan on a single turbo sometime.
not many fd rx7's in my area, but quite a few fc's.

thanks..

rhd was really easy to get used to. just alot of people bash rhd.
either way I still love the car.
by far the best well thought/designed car of 92-02 way ahead of anything else

I won't be driving this in the snow/slush crap haha.
I'll be rocking my daily driver for the winter.

I agree! At one time all I had was my FD as my daily driver and it happened to snow like crazy before I went to work on 3rd shift. I was driving like 20mph the whole way to work and everything was fine until I crested a turn and totally spun out, did a 180 and slammed into the concrete embankment. Thank God nothing happened to my 7...or me! That wasn't enough I guess because I got the car tuned around, drove further down the road and at the next turn spun out again about when off into a ditch. Took several passerbys to help get me back on the road again. I poked at 5mph the rest of the way to work and got a ride in the morning back home. I was like over an hour late to work; told my boss what had happened and all he could say was, "You know you're supposed to be to work at 11, you're late!" What a jerk!

Morale of the story: Call in sick if that's the only car you have to drive in the snow.

Very nice FD. Montego Blue is the best color for these cars.
