Hey I'm New Here!!!

Hi. My names Keith and/or Chill... Hip Hop monikers, right? Anyway. I'm going to be purchasing my first rotary this weekend. I've owned honda's and an e28 bmw for a short period of time. That's the extent of how much I really know about cars. With that being said I'm a newb... Lol Thanks for having me!!!

What year? Turbo or not? For your piece of mind I suggest getting a compression test to make sure the motor is healthy despite of how it runs. Good luck

Thanks for the luck https://www.rx7club.com/member.php?u=185910. It's an 88 GTU I believe( I know it's an 88 not sure if it's a GTU or not) non turbo. I've been researching as much as I can on this compression test topic, so I have a question about that. I'm under the impression there is only 2 spark plugs on the engine. Is that correct? and also is the comp. supposed to be 115 per rotor or 115 across all 3? Thanks again for all your help

I'm a 1st gen guy, but I believe (& I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong) that the 88 13b (gtu or not) has 4 spark plugs...compression is normally something that is checked at every spark plug as far as I know.
