Hello World! 93 RX-7 Touring

Have an RX-7 that I bought from a friend (original owner) in 2000. Runs well, has been stored (mostly inside) and covered. Don't drive it much but have been keeping it because I just love its looks and performance. Going to begin bringing it back as close to perfect as is practical - and if this forum is anything like my Rimfire rifle forum (rimfirecentral) it will be a rich source of info and entertainment going forward. My 21 year old son is jonesing for this project to begin

I still have original wheels, but like the look of these.

Exhaust system is a little worn, rear badge needs remounting, but otherwise all is pretty good.
for obvious reasons.

Welcome to the forum! Have you had to do much to the car over the last 21 years? How many miles are on the car?

When I bought it, it had just received a new engine. I had to put a clutch in it, and had the cooling system updated. New radiator and such. More recently there was a pipe in the exhaust system that was a bit restricted and replacement of that restored horsepower to the engine. The engine has 32k and the whole car has just under 100k. Original suspension components (even the shocks!) which I want to restore and update to get it back to its original rough ride instead of rough and loose.

Honestly sounds like an amazing car! Also sounds as though it's held up quite well over the years!
