HELLO!!!! new RX7 owner from Florida
Hello, to all. I have just purchased a 1985 GSL, 12a engine car. it has been re-painted about 5 years ago & still looks pretty good, candy apple blue, the engine was overhauled then as well. the interior is good too.
the guy that paid for and did all the work was 2 owners ago, as the guy I bought it from only owned the car for like 4 months. the first guy just had major life changes...(from what I hear, lol) and sorta abandoned the project. the second guy's life kinda changed rapidly too...funny how that can happen!
anyways, the car came with a bunch of 'spares', but I'm thinking they need installed anways. So, thats what I am going to do. Holly fuel pump, adjustable fuel reg. & gauge), SS fuel hoses. new brake pads, front wheel bearings,....um, I am sure I am forgetting some things. oh, going to get a new radiator (a bit leaky) and figure out his electric fan set-up.....and perhaps do something different with the oil cooler.???
The car is almost totally there. needs mostly small items to be buttoned up and I 'll have a great little car. I got it because I drive a big diesel truck....and it is just to big in the city...so, I got this....LOL....seems fun..
Thanks so much,
Sam from Florida
