CA Hello to my Rx7 family! Eric - '85 rx7 GS 12a manual - Bay Area, CA

Hi everyone, stoked to be part of the community. The forums have already helped me out so much with restoration and maintenance of my rx.
If you're nearby lets meet up for a drive and work on the cars together!

Have had my 85 rx7 for 20 years always garaged. It was my moms car before and she gave it to me when in turned 16 to keep it alive and have something to cherish for life.
Over the years I have done a ton of work and upgrades on the car. I have been putting in work every week to get the car up to full restoration and running tip top.
I'll list the work to be done below and parts I'm looking for. Any advice or parts anyone has for me would be much appreciated!

Upgrades done:
-12a rebuilt flywheel forward motor swap 10,000 miles ago (found the exact same 4/85 GS 10 years ago at pick and pull with a fresh rebuild that had been t-boned, got the entire stock replacement motor with nikki carb and all accessories attached for $300! Should have stocked up on part when tons of 1st gens were still hitting pick and pull)
-Stock replacement exedy clutch kit when I did the motor swap
-Full suspension overhaul
-toikico white 5pt adjustable struts
-racing beat spring kit
-energy polyurethane master bushing kit
-Suspension techniques front sway bar
-Kosei K1 rims with fresh 205/50/15 tires and alignment
-Brake system overhaul with new front calipers, new rear drums, Stainless Steel upgraded front brake lines, new rear hoses

Recent maintenance done:
-new clutch slave 8/22
-NGK BR8EQ plugs 8/22
-New belts 8/22
-Castrol GTX 10-30 and purolator blue filter change for upcoming winter 9/22, going to run 20-50 in the summer
-New Fram Extra Guard round air filter for the stock blue airbox, took out my k&n round filter after reading about how they dirty faster and provide less filtering 7/22
-new GL4 fluid for the manual transmission 7/22
-new GL5 fluid for the rear diff 7/22
-ran seafoam in gas tank then replaced fuel filter 8/22
-started premixing 1/2oz to gal in the gas 8/22

Work to be done:
-rebuild OMP
-speedometer not working (need a cable if anyone has one)
-turn signals/hazards not working, already put in a new steering column switch from Rockauto that didn't fix it (might be the clear flasher relay?)
-dash/interior lights not working (rear view mirror fell down years ago, the wire connection the rear view mirror broke and shorted out the lights)
-Swap rear end with GSL to get LSD and rear discs, want to keep my same wheel pattern for my kosei rime (does anyone have a 84/85 GSL rear end and parking brake cable?)
-Lightened flywheel when doing clutch next with stage one exedy kit (Opinions on if its worth it? Lightened steel or aluminum? Need the 85 12a counterweight if anyone has one)
-Paint car back to stock Sunrise red (need clean rear bumper and front lower spoiler piece that connects the bumper sides in front of the radiator if anyone has)

Parts needed '85 GS 12a manual:
-84/85 GSL rear end, parking brake cable, master cylinder pressure regulator
-speedometer cable
-flasher relay
-rear bumper
-front spoiler
-2 black mazda logos
-driver side rear hatch triangle trim piece
-Black anti door ding trim strips (need all 3 for both sides)

Rx7!

Welcome to the club and nice car! I was gonna ask where in the Bay you are, but that pic of Stinson beach gave it away. That's pretty cool of your mom to hand over the 7, and it looks like you're taking good care of it, too. Hopefully my daughter does the same when I hand her my RX-7 one day.

There's a meet in Half Moon Bay this weekend if you feel like going for a drive.

Welcome to the forum!! You've done a lot to the car and it seems like a very well sorted car! How many miles are on the car currently? Did your mom buy the car new?

Thanks! Been so fun working on it, project for life. Mom bought the car around 1999 at 120,000. It had 130,000 when she gave it to me in 2002. Currently 200,000 on the ODO but put in the freshly rebuilt '85 12a and new clutch about 10,000 miles ago
