Hello from Iraq!

I'm currently in Iraq as a soldier in the US Army. I'm stationed in Fort Drum, NY and live in Watertown, NY but my hometown is Flushing, NY. I'm coming home in a few weeks! I've wanted the FD Rx7 since i was a freshmen in highschool and I am now finally purchasing a 1994 Rx7 Touring Montego Blue with 30,500 miles on it! FINALLY... because I'm turning 27 this year... but yea im so excited to drive it when i get back home! I have alot of learning to do from this forum! thanks for your time.

Yeah, they only used to hit open fields on the bases I was at, lol. I'm in Albany NY and also bought my FD while I was deployed. I thought I was going to stick with a pretty stock set up but all that went out the window. I'm going back to the dyno in 10 days to see how close to 500whp we can get. I'll probably only end up with 450-475 realistically but it'll be fun to see what happens. What do you have planned for the car?
I'm not sure what imma do to my car yet... damn ur car sounds like a beast! how much whp did u pump out on ur last dyno and where are u going to get it dyno'd? do u tune it yourself? I'm looking for a place to do all that. willing to drive a few hours as long as the tune is goOd
I have to echo the thank yous here. If it weren't for you and what you do we would not be here enjoying the fruits of your sacrifice. Especially relevant at this time of year. Thank you. Sincerly. Keep it safe man, you have to get back here to enjoy that sweet ride!

Good luck with your car and thanks for serving the country. The Military is key to our survival as a country and it's people like you who help make this country the great place it is.
Be safe coming home. I am in Kirkuk and I head home in about a month. I am buying a 1993 Touring. Almost the exact same situation as you! Can't wait to get home and pick it up!

Without a doubt the best tuner in the NE to bring your FD to: http://www.enzo-racing.com/
make sure you have your car ready for the dyno, with the proper maintenance and parts installed. He's the best I've found in the last 12+ years
