look for a TII if you can.i have a 87 TII and i only have owned fit for a month or so but its fun when the turbo kicks in.i already bought $1,000 worth of parts.

but this motor needs a rebuild though cause it smokes when i revv it to 6K at a stop.not boosting. its white smoke.:icon_t dow

but good luck.lol

Hey welcome.

I have a a 94 single turbo FD3S rx-7 and let me tell you its something you need to be prepared for. even when going with a n/a engine it can be pretty expensive. The rx-7 is a sports car and is best used for weekends and taking it out on nice sunny days. The rx-7 is an extremly bad idea of a daily driver. I advise you to have another car avaliable when considering owning an rx-7

Just keep reading and searching around all the threads you'll learn everything you need to know

its doesn't necessary need to have white smoke for you to have a coolant leak... you will know when the coolant buzzer goes off and you start needing to add coolant every week or every couple of days

alright sorry i havent been on a a lil while, i've been tryin to talk to this guy bout lowerin the price of his 7....it needs exhaust work and the body has got some dents here n there, nothin major tho.. so i've finally talked him into tradin for my four wheeler, its a 440 with a lot of work and suspension done but all in all it'll be worth it.

im goin to take a look at it saturday and find out wether the guy wants to trade deffinitly or not, i'll be sure to take pics to show ya.
BTW its got a new 13b n/a jus put in 20k miles ago, he's got receipts to prove it so i think ima wait till i have some problems with the motor until to drop a TII, i gotta get use to the car first before i get more hp.
