I have a wee bit of a problem...I have a transmission that is shot to crap...(main shaft). I was not for sure what the problem was so insted of trying to rebuild it I was going to put a new one in. I went out and bought a used tranny and found out it was a turbo. Now here is the problem my RX-7 is NOT a turbo!! When I found this out I knew right off the bat that it would not fit. A bit of looking around I have found this to be fully true! Now what I would need to know is what can I do from here? will the main shaft work in the non turbo? or am I screwed? I only paid 50 bucks for it so its not much of a loss...(if you are no counting the car I wreaked on the way to pick it up) but still if there is nothing I can do then I am NOT going to tell my girlfriend!! Anyways, you will need an adapted driveshaft to make it work.

it would be an upgrade from the original, but if you do not need the stronger gear box-- sell it or trade it for a non-turbo one. you should make a bit on the deal. uaualy not worth the effort to change.
