GA Hello from the Honda world!

Hi guys, my name is Daniel and I'm from about 45 minutes south of Atlanta, GA. I currently don't own an RX-7, but I'm in the process of picking one up with a bad motor as a project. I currently drive an RSX Type-S, so the rotary will be new to me. I look forward to learning about these cars!

Welp, that's going to be an interesting project for sure but at least you're walking into it fully aware the engine isn't up to snuff. Hopefully, we're not talking about heading down the heretical path but keep us informed as the project ensues.

Thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!

Hey, new as well! I has a 04 TL and a 95 Type R prior to this and everything about the rotary is so much more strange and alien. Yet it feels sooo right! Lmao

its amazing that in two days of ownership and three trips to the auto parts store (in the RX-7) how many have suggested a 5.0 or 5.7 swap!

heretics indeed - long live the rotary!!

Rotorys are a whole different story... just when u think u know it all wait till you get into these... they actually are pretty simple.. treat them like a lawn motor with two stroke oil and they love high Rpms lol..

This being my second rebuild I managed to re assemble these motors in just over 3.5 hours
