Hello from Germany

Hi, my name is Daniel and i´m from Germany.

Because its nearly impossible to get a FD in Germany i just bought a bare shell in britain and going to start completing it

13B engines are also not really available, so i will put an 1uz-fe with m112 supercharger into it.
And i have to swap the car vom rhd to lhd.

Welcome! Nice looking shell from what I can see.

Was the FD not sold in Germany? And... you live pretty close to Nurburgring. I salute you, sir.

has anyone done a 1UZ-FE in an FD before? Will the cylinder heads fit? In the US, the swaps are usually GM LSx engines because of cost and availability, but also the 2 valve pushrod head fits better.

The Fd was sold in germany, but as an example:
2009 there were only 76 Fds registered in germany, today even less, so they are really expensive here.

Same with LSx engines, good ones start at 8000€ here, 1UZ under 1000.

1uz will fit, there are some swaps out there right now:

LSx would be much easier, but too expensive here in germany, and much more trouble because of "TÜV".
