I live in Northeast Florida and i am looking for a VR Rx-7.

This is the dream car, so i have been stalking this site for a decade.

Yeah i made sure to figure out where the nearest ones are before. Im not sure if other posts i have made are invalid but my count went down... from 10 to 5. lol. I fully understand and endorse the post count to make sure only true members post. but, it is a bit limiting to start with. especially when you would like to try an post in the classifieds.

I am trying to find an RX7 currently. I am reaching out to ones posted and i am checking the usual(craigslist, bring a trailer, etc) and it seems like the "want to buy" get decent feedback.

honestly, i am trying to focus on mechanically sound ones. I am not worried about the non- essentials, just want a decent engine and tranny. oh and must be a manual lol

the budget is there. Looking to spend $15 to $18k. to make sure i have a decent starting platform. which seems to be doable. I have reached out about one but it has 3mm seals and i spoke to someone and now i am terrified to some extent of those. the information on the site is so polar on it that i hours of reading did not help much lol

yeah i saw that one. I am trying to make it so i can get it in the southeast. or within 1000 miles. i want to try and road trip it back and the idea of going from cali to here seems a bit... long. lol.

I road tripped my first one back in 2003 from so cal to Vegas and Vegas to Minnesota...there are some decent ones here in Florida that just need a little love...especially with your budget you could build the motor and still have money in your pocket

I had to go the roller route. I'm on a tight budget. Mine won't be back in the road for at least a year. Single parent life makes having toys tough

i understand that budget issue. I will have to reach out when i get a spare moment from work lol to see the project you got going. work is one of the reasons i am trying to find a mechanically sound one from the start to work with. I have some time but not enough to start from scratch, plus probably the bigger issue being i want to drive it now. lol
