Gerald, that is going to be one scary ride! Just don't blame RX-7 Club for the results when you finally take that first ride!

Welcome aboard!

Thanks Mario I really do look forward to having enough power that it needs to be controlled rather than just giving it all it's got. I just hope some of the old school guys are bored enough to help me get rid of all the unnecessary things. Well off to do a little snooping. thanks again

SK Danger in his pants

I have a rolling frame from a gl 1000 Honda gold wing with shaft drive, duel front disk brakes, nice big rear disc with nice heavy factory mags .Just need to make it about 3.5--4 ft. longer and beef it up a bit and lower frame as much as possible. Might need to build a torsion bar to take some of the twist out of the engine on acceleration but I am hoping there won't be much twist . I have worked on tons of engines but never a round one before . Rotary is all new to me ,the first thing I realized was to throw out every thing you think you know and start over from scratch . No problem understanding how they work it is the fuel and electrical that got me reading . The fuel injection is what I don't like, too much stuff to go wrong I think I will go to some kind of carb system that is what I am actually looking for is info on what kind of carb set up to use without going to the bank . I like the electronic ignition much better than points but I also need info on that part. It will be all winter before it will be ready for trials my heart already starts to double thump when I think about it . Just stock it will produce more power than I need but the thing is it has very close to 80 cubic inches or 1300 cc. same as a Harley Davidson with half again as much horse power without touching the engine. after that the sky is the limit.

Crazy canucks. That should be one crazy ride. You should record your first run and post it for all of us to watch.

Yea I will make sure I get a movie, you can bet there will be more than one camera going . I will also take some pics as I build through the winter . So I guess anyone that wants to see their first 13b dirt drag will need to do their best to help me make it run as good as possible. I have built them before but never with anything this volatile . I think that will be fair trade .. don't you think ..
