Hey I joined this forum purely to gain knowledge and piece of mind before I venture into the realm of first gen rx7's. I am familiar with forums and am a member to a few. Yes I have a Volvo but I want a project car for the summer, nothing insane, just a quick little car that I can cause trouble in. I have put a lot of thought into what kind of a project that would be fairly simple, fairly quick (the car itself), and just a pleasure to drive. And I think the conclusion is an rx-7. I'll probably just end up lurking and possibly asking newb-ish questions but I'll try and refrain from doing so. Will post a thread as soon as I've found my base.

And at that, any suggestions on where to start? I'd like to go 13b+T first gen, somewhere in the ballpark of 280 hp. I'm willing to figure stuff out on my own I just don't know what model/year I should be looking for to start. (would consider 2nd gen as long as it's pre-87, although I do love the 1st gen style )
