Hello From Belgium ;)

Hey there im Chris Wuyts from belgium i am a car mechanic with my own shop and i tend to like the "different cars" out there. If it aint used much or pretty rare in my country/region i usually wich to own one somewere along the line.

I was currently driving a MG F from 2001 trophy edition 160hp tuned to 180hp(161hp on back wheels) but as that car keep cuasing me various trouble and it prolly needs engine work again (midship engine) it is kinda annoying me to much, then i saw a FC 1987 NA for sale with only 90.000km and almost no rust i went for it

When i bought the car however the brake pedal felt wierd, the engine ran a +-2500-3000rpm idle and the temp didnt go up enough. But i still managed to drive it home with no problems so i knew the engine was still solid.

Currently still doing work on it as it has been handeled pretty badly. The thermostat was removed when i bought it so i flushed the system and refilled it, then i noticed the BAC and Fast idle thermowax didnt get warm water they were clogged up completly so i took em off and gave em a good cleaning, the BAC works perfetly now but the thermowax is dead and wont move so i just put the fast idle cam open fully for now as currently i have yet to find a good place to find parts over here :/

The car still has trouble though but i will post in the tech section about that later.

Hope i will like the car, well keep liking it as i do like it already

Probaly going to put some rims on it that step out wider though as the stock ones are pretty deep in the fenders

Oh and the last owner replaced the rear shocks... not sure how to handle that yet as i do liked the idea of the AAS suspension

Where are you getting your parts both? I recently moved to Brussles with a FD3s (from Japan) that I want to do a lot of work to but have no idea where to start looking for things. I would especially like to switch the body kit on it but it seems as if Brussles doesn't deal with cars older than 5 years. :/
