A question for RX owners from BELGIUM...
Greetings from Greece.
Recently i was talking with a friend and he told me that in Belgium you can find cheap new 13BT engines(4000-5000 euros).
Does anyone know how much will cost a new 13BT engine in Belgium????
Any other info for 13BT engine prices in Belgium or Germany will be appreciated...
Thanks in advance.

Other European countries think of Belgium as the place to be for Mazda parts.
That's just because the European Parts Center is located in Belgium.
Dealer prices are often higher in Belgium than in Germany or Spain. Spain is usually the cheapest.
I can tell for sure that Euro spec 13B turbo (Turbo II) engines and 13B REW (FD3S) engines are no longer available new from Mazda. They are no longer produced in Japan and Europe does not have an organised rebuild program for Rotary Engines.
Which engine model are you looking for ?

Although Belgium does have the European Parts Center, our prices aren't influenced by that.
My bet would be to look for the country with the lowest VAT, as that will usually make a lot of difference. Belgium has a extremely high VAT, with 21%. I know of no other EU member state with such high VAT. Germany for example only has 16%...
However, other factors influence prices aswell, so Spain could indeed be a lot cheaper.
I do know that the Netherlands, for example, usually have even higher prices for parts.
