Greetings - Newbie from NC
Hi All,
My name's Marcel and I've been lurking around this site for a few years - tapping into the wealth of knowledge as and when I needed to for my '93 FD touring.
My 3rd-gen is a black A/T (yuk you say) that I acquired as for my motorcycle which I planned to use as my primary transport when I lived in the Chicago area. I previously owned a BMW E46 M3 convertible which was a great car, but I simply didn't enjoy it when all I could do to avoid the local police is to stick to the ridiculous 35-45 mph speed limits which comprised most of my journeys.
The automatic tranny was my first straying from a manual in years, but I really didn't intend to keep the FD for long. I also had a Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser restoration in the pipeline, which was to become the backup to the 2-wheeler.
Five years down the line I'm living in NC and the FD's still with me. Great car and I could drink coffee while I drive to work! That is until the oil leak began...another story.
