Got my FD!!!
Hey Guy's and Gal's. My name is Tori and I just got my FD! Im freakin excited to be in the rotary scene but now it's time for the work to begin. Already had to replce a blown oil pan gasket which wasnt to much of a pain but now if I run the car for 30 min's or so white smoke starts to come from the turbo area. Im hoping its just lines that need to replaced but I will see this weekend when I get in there to take a look. Any other ideas would be appreciated and I will update you all when I get some answers on my own. Have a good day all and God Bless the Rotary!!

Welcome
Spend lots of time reading the 3rd gen FAQ thread to help you troubleshoot, make repairs and understand the car in general: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/
White smoke is probably a coolant leak. Consider replacing all of the coolant hoses and new OEM hose clamps. Its a good safety/reliability precaution on a car this old with a finicky coolant system. Also read the coolant system threads in the FAQ thread to learn more about this.
We get our OEM parts from Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda. He gives us excellent discounts and owns 2 FDs. His number is in the FAQ thread.

I will definitely post pics as soon as I get the chance. So far I had a huge pool of oil around the larger hose for the stock air intake right around the area where the smoke comes from. Also I have some oil in the intercooler. Still tearing things apart and investigating. Worn oil seals on turbo's.....??? Still need to get down there and check those coolant lines...... Oh what fun!!

Update time..... Havent had much time to get into last week but, I'm pretty sure my turbos are leaking. Having a hard time with the water pump side bolt of the air pump........ taking that thing off sucks..... @Scribo.... Im in Valdosta Ga. Just a few minutes from the Florida border.

Alright, so my Ypipe had a crack in it and it was allowing blow by oil to drop on the ehaust and burn of causing the smoking issue. Just ordered and efini y pipe and hopefully that problem will be no more.
