TX Fresh Meat! (:

Just kidding.
I don't have an RX-7, I'm really really wanting one though.
White FC3s Stock Body, Rolled Fenders.. I'll be happy.

Well, a little about me.
I just recently turned 19, names Taylor.
I've had:
71 240z, I restored myself.
79 280zx, which was a hunk of junk toy car.
89 240sx, bored, one piece driveshaft, bigger TB, nothing special.
95 240sx SE, Super clean, Nice'ish stance.
97 Turbo'd Civic, VTEC Swap, .50 Trim, Completely built.

NOW that I don't have any of those, I've become relatively interested in Rotary motors.
Seems like a Reliable engine, people are just weary about, because they're different.

Plans are Stock 13b-RE (keeping it Sequential) with a few add-on's. I.e.- FMIC, oil cooler, 2 row radiator, fuel pump, and some ducting. Along with Coilovers, chassis braces, and some Cheap-o Drift spares. (:
Well, ask Questions, I'm no stranger.

Well Taylor, the only question I have here is what was it that made you become "relatively interested" in RX-7's and the rotary engine? Movie? Friend? Encounter on the street or track? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!

I used to watch them at Drift event's, I'm not sure.. The High revving sound, the simplicity of them. It's just stepping outside the box, of what I'm used to.
The Fc3s weight distribution, is great! I'm all about making a Light, Simple Daily Drifter.

I just find them, somewhat intriguing. That is all.

Welcome Taylor. You've owned more than double the cars I have and I'm several years older. Lucky!

I grew up around them, its a passion.
I just don't have money to spoil myself with all the fruits of life anymore..

What's a fair price for a base model S4? In descent condition

In the Hill Country / Austin area I'm seeing S4 and S5s being priced between $800 to $3500 (a few price up to $5k). Unfortunately, they're all a little rough, but what can you expect with cars approximately 25 years old.

Good luck on your search!

I've only drove my fd twice. And it was running like crap, boost leaks and a bad turbo. But it still kept a smile on my face. Drove it on to a trailer, then off... It's under the knife as we speak.

The build off going along great! These engines are too easy.
i want a shell, and attempt a 13b swap. That will be in time though
