ID First time Rotary owner.

Hey all. My name is Aleks and I have been a car enthusiast since I was in my early teen years. I had the opportunity to buy a close friends 88 NA Convertible fairly cheap and I figured that this place would provide a plethora of knowledge specific to the rotary and the things that I plan on doing with the car.

A bit of background on myself. I work at a shop as a service writer, but have wrenched and been a technician on everything from farm equipment and diesel engines down to smaller automotive stuff. I have owned lots of European cars and have had a few Japanese cars in my time that include an e30, mk4 gti, audi a4 (3 of them in different chassis years), Audi S4, Acura integra, s13 240sx, 540i, 528i, all sorts of other flipped cars and trucks that I am sure I am forgetting at the moment. I am still fairly inexperienced with some things but plan on using this car as a good starting point to build a couple of wiring harnesses, learn some fab work, and grow my knowledge overall.

I know the Pics are not good quality, nor show much. But you get the idea haha. Thanks for having such a great place of knowledge and for everyone who keeps these forums active.

It sounds like the car is in good hands. There is tons of information and inspiration here, also a decent amount of parts listed here that aren't listed other places.

That's what I am finding. It seems to be plentiful of info! I have Pretty much gotten the wiring stuff I needed less the Milspec Firewall connectors I need ordered or have currently available at the shop. I was looking though. Doesn't seem like many people have run a Milspec connection or re wired much on these cars. Seems like everything just works. I am just OCD about stuff.

Welcome! With your background I think you will have no issues getting the car where you want it to be. This place has an answer for almost anything you can think to ask!!
