Looks like a nice find. Something you might consider is that Japanese FDs didn't exactly have model years per se. Plus, there was the change from N3Ax to N3Fx ECU in December 1995/January 1996. Between this and the 3 different versions for 92-95, getting the right info and parts can be rather daunting.
It would definitely help to have a vin number. I can run a build sheet on it and tell you how the car came from the factory. Eliminates a LOT of guesswork that way.

Yea that would be cool, the vin should be FD3S117241.

Sorry for the late reply, been busy with crazy weather-related stuff here in STL. Here's the build sheet for your car. Turns out you have quite a late Version 1 FD, Version 2 began a few months later. I added English text where applicable for the details.
Please note where it says "limited model". This is where the Grade AKA Trim Level of the vehicle is. Sometimes there is info here, sometimes there isn't. For example, if it was about a Spirit R, it would say so here. But for an Infini FC, it's blank. In those cases, the two blanks in the upper section (Seat Type and Door Trim Type) plus the MSC Code are how I verify what model it is.

interesting, so mine is a type R, which is the base level FD?

MSC Code F100 is the base model. That points to a Type S with manual transmission, 4 seats, no airbag and normal suspension. Bodywork parts common to all Japanese FDs at the beginning of production start with F100 too. For example, the front eFini badge is F100-51-731A
From there, you have the Type S Automatic (F101), Type X Manual (F105), Type X Automatic (F106), Type R (F109) and Type RZ (F104). All except the RZ were 4 seat models. As for the MSC Code suffix (for yours, 210), I don't have anything concrete but I believe they are Option Groups. On the FC, the first digit is Group options tied to that specific trim level. On the Series 4 FC, it is items such as a rear wiper, 4-piston brakes, power windows, etc.
Not sure what it is beyond that, I can only guess based on certain options being present or absent based on other known factors and hopefully finding a pattern. Just poking around in the database has produced suffixes ranging from 210 like yours to 212, 2C0, 3CM and 31L. Perhaps more info is in the corresponding Japanese manuals? I'll see what I can dig up.
FD3S-111555 is a Type S Automatic, MSC Code F101-110. That's the lowest spec'ed one I've found so far. "110" on a FC means 4-lug wheels, crank windows, no rear wiper, am/fm radio (unless deleted), no cruise control, etc.

Reason: more info
The first pages of the parts catalogues for the various years and versions gives pretty good detail on the types and option packages. Interesting there is a progression of parts catalogues through some years and the composition of the cars can change from catalogue to catalogue, even within a given year.
A while back I searched the vin numbers around the end and beginning of the runs of the various "versions". What I found was the likely last Version One (JDM) was #118195. Vin numbers likely started at 100030 for JDM version one cars.
It is common that the first numbers of each version are missing from the data base I accessed. My guess would be those represent cars that went to testing, or were not sold for some other corporate purpose.
We are able to import JDM cars into Canada once they are 15 years old.
The earliest VIN number cars in Canada that I have come across were numbers 100056, 100066, and 100150.
Many of the early RHD brought into Canada were bought very (very!) cheaply and did not enjoy happy fates.
