Finally bought my RX7!
Hello everyone,
My name is Joe and I'm just a young guy living in the GTA in Ontario. I just picked up a 1992 Efini RX7 off a kid who was definitely undeserving of it. The car needs A LOT of work and I plan on getting it ready for summer in a few months. It has 132,000km on it, missing right side headlight cover and the engine is TOAST. With the help of my more mechanically inclined friend (some being mechanics) I plan to take the engine out and put a newer one in. It's actually sad that someone let such a beautiful car get to the point its at now.
Anyways I hope on turning that around and restoring it to its natural beauty and I'm looking forward to working with this forum to help others and receive the help I need as I am new to this whole thing.
Joe.

Yeah that's the one. I definitely didn't pay his asking price though! His best selling line was "check out the awesome blue bulbs in the DRL's! when I turn those on at night everyone comes by my house to check it out!"....
Alright then.
But after reviewing the Owner History in the seller package it appears that he bought the car with a blown engine because there was no mileage put on since the registration was changed over. Oh well, his loss and my gain! And yes I will do my best to restore this vehicle, I am somewhat of a perfectionist so don't you worry about that. I'm just more concentrated on making her run good right now but once it warms up a tad, the body work will begin.
Hey shifty, I will come to the Canadian section because I want to find some meets in the GTA to meet other RX7 owners!
