FD3S Unmod

Hi Folks,

I've owned a few FC's and purchased an FD recently. Overall, it's a nice car. It came with HKS intakes, HKS front mount intercooler, exhaust, Apexi power FC and coil overs. I've always loved the FD and have quite a collection of unique cars. The FD has always been timeless. I generally mod every car in the past, but decided to remove the FMIC, Intakes and go back to stock. I may install a better SMIC at minimum. I do plan on keep the Power FC and minor Dyno tuning. I've ordered the datalogit to work on a laptop.

Today, I did locate a stock IC shroud, cold air duct and a few other parts, but will spend time on the parts form locating all the little components to complete the build.

I'm currently in need of a stock air box. If anyone has any leads, please feel free to email me- Hooverc@turbohoses.com.

Thanks,
Hoover

That's a clean car. Still torn over which generation of the RX-7 looks best. FC or FD? Yours almost makes me lean towards the latter, but the FC has a special place in my heart.

I've had a TurboII and the FC Convertible as well. I fit better in an FC, but then again, I probably am "bigger" now. The last time I drove an FD was about 18 years ago.

I don't see FD's on the road much. The body is rather timeless. This car had signs of a roll cage that was removed. Mazda Japan still has all the parts and some of it I've located via shops, Ebay, Craigslist etc..... hasn't broken the bank yet.

I'll post some pics. of work that was done the day after I purchased.
