FD lover from NJ!
Whats up guys! Name is Edwin, as per rules and making a good start to rx7club.com and the Mazda world I should say a few things about my self and my intentions here. Soooo....
Well for starters my spelling sucks, I work as a Motorcycle Tech for Honda Factory MC and now I'm at a local Performance shop in NJ lending my knowledge while they still pay me well. I've recently fell in love with FD's and even more so my dad has always been a Corvette diehard and still thinks his cars are the fastest thing know to man (though they are fast), I recently started to think I should take the knowledge he has and use it while I still plan to out-do him with an FD and an LS motor.
So I'm in the market for a nice starter car and I'll go from there, especially because I'm at a performance shop and have access to a lift and lots of usable equipment threw my Factory Honda employment.
What I hope to accomplish is simple, I'm here to learn. I want to know terms for chassis, trim level, rotary engine info, chassis maintenance history and things to look out for, rx7 meets and shows, etc. And since I don't know anyone local (directly) who owns a swap like the ones I plan on doing I'll need to find info here.
So Cheers guys (Currently sipping a Brooklyn lager), and anyone in NJ out there STAND UP!
