CA Fc shell owner ready to build

Hey guys my name is Garren. I have a '87 tII shell that I purchased through a friend/ past coworker. The car has 87,xxx miles on it and is missing the engine, tranny, ecu, harness, hood and some other little stuff. I am currently working at Dynamic Autosports in Lake Forest, California. I have so far gotten the momo hub, steering wheel and NRG thin quick release. I plan on turning the car into some that is daily drivable and something to take to the track. Right now I am driving a '96 nissan maxima that is slowly dying so hopefully I can get this thing running soon. I do have a full drivetrain in line to trade for my tII rearend right now so it should be drivable soon!

I'll get a build thread up as soon as I get some more things for the car!

Thank goodness you work at a "tuner" shop so that this project actually has a good chance of truly being finished. That is a helluva tall task to rebuild a car from a shell and not even have the components it was built with originally. You're def going to have to start a build thread and toss in many, many pics as you and the shop bring this car back to life!

Thanks for taking the time to register, give us such a nice intro with great detail and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club !

Thanks for the support ill try and upload a pic of the car here tonight. As for the car being finished i'm not sure it ever will but it will come damn close im extremely determined to complete this car. I am going to have a lot of questions on engine work as that the rotory motor is pretty new to me. I hope to have some updates soon!

We'll be here, Garren, and the amount of info on rotary engines here is stunning.
