I have been into 4 wheel drives for a while now and want to start getting back to some speed. I have always wanted to build a rx7 and have always thought it to be one of the sexiest cars ever. I really like the last body style(I believe 92-95) but am absolutely not opposed to the previous body style(85,86-91).

I am curious as to what models and packages are available. As in GXE as opposed to GXL? I just got the go ahead to build a race car so I want to start planning the builds now. It may be a year or more before I buy the car but I am going to start looking and planning now. I have known several people to build these beasts to be very fast cars. I although don't know much about the rotary engine.
